Hi! I am Frederic Zuzan as you might have established by the name of this website.

I am a 24 year-old German filmmaker based in the United Kingdom and a graduate from the Northern Film School in Leeds.

How I got here:

My love for filmmaking started quite late in my life when I was floundering what to do during/after my A-levels. My father suggested back then why not to do film studies at A-level, it was something that I had expressed mild interest in, not knowing much about it. That same week I dropped my pursuing of politics in favour for this subject in a bit of a leap of faith moment. This resulted in me finding something I had not expected, I loved everything about film. How the different elements of a production came together to create a peace of art that could inspire millions and this not being limited to conventional storytelling. I wanted to know how to also do this, leading me to choose filmmaking as a career and to apply to the Northern Film School. Ending up here with my own website and a body of work I am proud of and hope to expand!

What I do now:

As a graduate I am entering the film industry, whilst I still make films on the side with my friends and colleagues. I plan to keep on creating, and telling stories through the medium of film.

I currently work as a runner and bounce around the U.K!
